Whenever I start a painting, I always paint the eyes first, it immediately brings the painting to life and I feel like they watch me as I paint their portrait. It is usually my favorite part of the painting to do, so I decided to paint a series of big cat eyes. This one is by far my favorite in the series. Tiger eyes have so many different colors in them and are so striking, I just love them!
