AFC's annual juried "International Exhibit of Nature in Art" is the world's top conservation-themed art exhibit and sale. It's a rare opportunity for art collectors to buy original artwork by internationally acclaimed artists and directly support conservation work. Most of the artwork in the exhibit is for sale and ranges widely in price from $500 to $50,000+. At least 40% of proceeds from artwork sales benefits conservation and environmental education, and each artwork is dedicated to supporting a conservation organization of the artist's choice.
This year, enjoy an special musical video by composer and viola maestro, Thomas Beckman, composed and assembled to accompany the 2021 Artists for Conservation Exhibit. The piece is called 'Entropy' - The video was created in collaboration with filmmaker Darko Sikman and features the artwork from AFC's 2021 Exhibit. In Thomas' words: "I decided to name it that given how disruptive the year has been with COVID and all the political polarization. Nature, in many ways, mirrors what we endure on a constant basis so I thought to express this musically with more harmonic and rhythmic abstraction and purposeful disjointedness."
