Artists for Conservation 2020

International Exhibit of Nature in Art

AFC's annual juried "International Exhibit of Nature in Art" is the world's top conservation-themed art exhibit and sale. It's a rare opportunity for art collectors to buy original artwork by internationally acclaimed artists and directly support conservation work. Most of the artwork in the exhibit is for sale and ranges widely in price from $500 to $50,000+. At least 40% of proceeds from artwork sales benefits conservation and environmental education, and each artwork is dedicated to supporting a conservation organization of the artist's choice.

This year, enjoy an special musical video by composer and viola maestro, Thomas Beckman, composed and assembled to accompany the 2020 Artists for Conservation Exhibit. The piece is called 'Metatation' - a play on the words mutations (from biological evolution and the variety of life) and meditation (the spiritual aspect of our experience when we contemplate this variation of life).

AFC Awards & Medals

Every year Artists for Conservation pays tribute to international artists with numerous awards. Five artists were honored in 2019. The awards include AFC Medals of Excellence, which recognize outstanding artworks in the exhibit, and two Environmental Statement Awards. AFC has also awards "Best in Show", in recognition of the highest scoring artwork (for paintings and sculptures) by the jury panel in the annual exhibit.
