The African Elephant when seen for the first time in its native environment is life changing. They are kind, gentle, and compassionate creatures that can enlighten anyone who spends time around them. They are highly endangered because of their ivory tusks. I just can't envision a world without them; their loss would be grievous to all of Africa and anyone who has shared their presence.
