This piece was commissioned by the WLT (World Land Trust) to celebrate 40 years of charity work with Sir David Attenborough as the Chief Patron. Belize was the founding project of World Land Trust(WLT) in 1989, working to conserve The Rio Bravo Conservation & Management Area, which now covers more than 250,000 acres. This is prime habitat for Harpy Eagle. In Greek mythology, Harpy's were wind spirits that took the dead to Hell, and were said to have a body like a vulture and the face of a woman.
