If you go to Cabo Pulmo in Baja California Sur, Mexico, you have to snorkel with the jacks, a unique experience in Cabo Pulmo! The jacks form a tornado from the bottom (45’ or more) to the surface. When you approach the school of jacks they will make a space for you and when you look to any side or look down you will feel you have become part of the school. You are completely surrounded by them and feel you can almost touch them. In this painting I want to show what the snorkeler’s view of this school is like, making sure my shadow gives you an idea of the massiveness of this school of jacks.
