Coral reefs harbour an enormous diversity of life , yet are easily damaged. A rise in water temperature caused by climate change causes the reef to stress and this causes mass bleaching which is occurring much more rapidly and extensively. We need to focus on renewable fuels and phase out fossil fuels before it is too late for reefs around the world...
