At Rocky Point, Prince Edward Island, Canada is a beautiful stand of trees, . These are Linden trees, that apparently grow for several hundred years. Judging by their size, they appear to have been planted a long time ago to edge the old roadway, but whoever planted them, and built the buildings , have long since left us. The falcon resting in the tree on the right side of the painting, gives us a relationship of how large these stately trees are. Trees have always fascinated me, as living, breathing, life forms. Research has shown that they communicate with surrounding trees. I wonder what tales they can share , what scenes they have witnessed, and climate changes they have endured as they stand tall, golden in colour when the sunlight dances on them, as they progress in their life journey?
