Wildlife abound in this beautiful corner of Yellowstone Park. I was following a path that ultimately yielded a diverse number of habitats ranging from those along the shoreline of West Yellowstone Lake to canopied forests and open grasslands that swayed from the breezes under a July sun. I had emerged from a dense part of the forested path and looked to my left through an opening out to the lake and was able to capture a moment of beauty resulting from a storm that had flooded a small catchment area. Although it was but a moment of time, one could stay longer to observe a bounty of insects, birds and small animals that hid in the tall grasses.
