The Mountain Bluebird used to be a common sight along the northern Alberta foothills, but several years went by without me seeing them. Every year I went out searching for these delightful, vibrant birds and this year I was finally successful. They arrive first thing in the spring and symbolize to me the hope of warmer weather. Hopefully they will become more common again. These birds and foliage are to the notes of Vivaldi's Spring season of "Four Seasons". I enjoy incorporating music and art together to use both senses in experiencing art. When I sit out in nature, watching the birds flit from one branch to another and singing their own unique songs it gives me immense joy. If I can share that with others, I hope nature would be a priority for others to preserve and protect.
