While on safari in Africa we found a leopard roaming her normal hunting grounds, not bothered much by us. As we lost sight of her, we stopped to look at a gorgeous tree. While we were admiring the beauty of the tree, the leopard circled back around, climbed up into it, supplying us with one of the most beautiful images on the trip. It was such an unexpected and amazing moment, I knew then and there that would have to be a painting when I returned.
