Artist Statement

Urrao antpitta/Fenwick's antpitta (Grallaria urraoensis) is a critically endangered species of bird found in the understory of cloud forest in the Andean highlands of Colombia. Thank you to SAO - Sociedad Antioqueña de Ornitologia, Colombia - with 33 years of activities, SAO is the oldest ornithological society in Colombia, the country with the highest diversity of birds on the planet.
