Artist Statement
The rusty-flanked crake is a species of bird in the Rallidae family. It is endemic to Venezuela. The Scientific name is Laterallus levraudi. The beautiful coloring inspired me to draw it, and my usual style is quite realistic, so I tried to add a more playful background.
