Artist Statement

The rufous- headed robin is a very small robin of the genus Larvivora. It's scientific name is Luscinia Ruficeps. It's breeding sites are located in north-central Sichuan and southern Shaanixi in south-western China. The rufous-headed robin's natural habitat are the temperate forests and shrubland. It is thought to be endangered through habitat loss and degradation as it's population is in decline. There have been rare sightings in Malaysia outside of the breeding season
