Artist Statement

Born and raised in British Columbia, I have explored the rugged nature and native wildlife of BC and the Alberta Rockies for many years. These experiences have greatly contributed to my artwork and my ongoing love of bears. After several trips to Costa Rica, I am exploring a new journey of tropical wildlife. With this new inspiration I am taking an intimate look at the spectacular bird life there. I hope to share my experiences through my artwork to raise awareness and inspire the viewer to celebrate wildlife.
