Artist Statement
Uncommon and elusive, the critically endangered Mozambique Forest-warbler is endemic to riparian areas and tall evergreen tropical moist forests of the Njesi Plateau of northeast Mozambique and the East Usambara plateau in Tanzania. Populations of this inconspicuous tailorbird are thought to be between 30 to 200 individuals in a highly restricted range of only 350 square miles.
