Artist Statement

Only 1,000-2,000 horned guans now exist in the wild. I am proud to say that The St. Louis Zoo, who I am associated with here in my hometown of St. Louis, MO, is one of the leading U.S. organization working to preserve the horned guan, through the WildCare Institute's Center for Conservation of the Horned Guan (Pavon) in Mexico.
