Alagoas Foliage-gleaner
Philydor novaesi
It is Brazil’s rarest bird and decreasing at an alarming rate. Records show that this bird was seen sporadically since its discovery in 1979. No sightings have been recorded since 2011. I re- created this species and its environment after the photos of Carlos Gussoni.
