AFC Launches Video Blog for Earth Day

Earth Day!

Vancouver, BC – (April 22, 2012) – Artists for Conservation (AFC), the world’s leading group of artists supporting the environment, on Earth Day launches a video blog to share and highlight conservation stories relating to AFC and its artist members around the world.

"AFC artists are changing how we think about conservation through art, many explore the Earth, traveling to remote areas - climb mountains, diving the oceans, and exploring our last true wildernesses. Each have stories to share that are creating conversations and movements around the globe. The Video Blog will help spread the word and inspire more people." Jeff Whiting.

One of AFC's key goals for the vlog is to support our artists community by capturing their stories through personal dialogue. We'd like to get the arts community, general public, youth, and the conservation community thinking about conservation and art and the difference that one individual can make. Video is a powerful medium to create conversation and raise awareness - this is what ultimately leads to real change.
