Artists Featured on Cover of AFC’s 2012 Exhibit Companion Book & 2013 Environmental Calendar

Vancouver, BC CANADA - September 28, 2012 - Artists for Conservation is pleased to announce Mark Hobson's Painting "Steller's Jay: Among the Alders" for the cover of the 2012 Exhibit book and Luis Aguirre's painting "Inhabitant of Güeppí" for the cover of the "2013 Environmental Calendar".

The 2012 Exhibit book is published as a companion to the annual exhibit, this 240 page tribute to AFC's global pool of artist talent, features images of all of the artwork on display at the upcoming Artists for Conservation Exhibit - the world's top conservation-themed exhibit and sale. The 2012 Artists for Conservation Festival represents AFC's 5th annual exhibition of Members' artworks and second annual exhibit opening in North Vancouver, BC on October 13 at Grouse Mountain Resort. The book also includes chapters on information on last year's Artists for Conservation Festival, Pollyanna Pickering, this year's Simon Combes Conservation Award winner and Nigel Shaw's 13th Artists for Conservation Flag Expedition. Copies are now available for order online. Supplies are very limited and this prized collector's book is sure to sell quickly.

Each month is represented by a select work from this year's Art of Conservation Exhibit.
