AFC Festival 2022
Share your passion for art and conservation with other like-minded people by joining the Artists for Conservation Festival volunteer team this fall in Vancouver!
A wide variety of roles and positions are available, inside and outside. Positions include usher, gallery ambassador, public greeter, craft table supervisor, artist supporter, garden chaperone, special events assistant and many more to suit various skill levels and interests. Check out the festival schedule and come "Experience the Art of Conservation" with us!
It's a great way to get involved in the world's top international art and environmental festival! Meet passionate international wildlife/nature artists from around the world, share your passion with like-minded volunteers, and interact with festival visitors from ages 3 to 85+.
Volunteers may be required to attend a pre-festival orientation/training session prior to the festival opening. Specific shifts and roles are filled at orientation meetings based on registration. All volunteers must sign up online and select positions of interest and availability for shifts. Volunteers are required to commit to a minimum of three shifts (6 hours duration each).
Volunteers each receive a free copy of the AFC hardcover coffee-table book featuring artwork from the exhibit, as well as AFC’s Environmental Calendar.
Note about COVID-19: Neither masks nor proof of vaccination will be required to attend 2022 AFC Festival activities, however this is subject to change as we will continue to follow Provincial Health Authority protocols to ensure the safety of all volunteers, guests and visitors.
