Ian Griffiths BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year

Animals in their Enviroment Category

With two of Griffiths' paintings selected for the finals of the BBC wildlife artist of the year including these Spix Macaws and the other, a Kingfisher, was voted the winner of 'Animals in their enviroment (UK and worldwide)

There were 1300 enteries worldwide, 100 finalists and 13 winners. The winners were published in a special edition of the BBC wildlife magazine in August and exhibited at a special show at Marwel zoo, UK at the end of August.

BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year - Winner in Two Categories

For the second year in succession Jeremy Paul has won a category in the annual BBC Wildlife Artist of The Year with his paintings 'Southern Ocean - Wandering Albatross'. He was also runner up in a second category with 'Autumn Glow - Whooper Swans'

Further, Jeremy's painting - 'Islands' - Otter has won the 'British Mammals' category in the final judging of the competition.

Details of all the category winners and the overall winner will be announced in the BBC Wildlife Magazine in the coming months.
