On our trip to Africa, we were able to stay at Giraffe manor, a facility dedicated to saving giraffes. We met their founder and director Betty Leslie-Melville and became lifelong friends.

Unfortunately, Betty passed away a few years ago, but her son has taken over the sancturary, located near Nairobi, Kenya.
