Endangered Reflections
In the early morning, this Amur Leopard made his way down to a log to the chilly
water's edge. As he cautiously watches his surrounding area he takes a drink which
creates a wonderful reflection on the pond and a very abstract design in the water.
Amur Leopard's habitats are in Northeast Asia and are at the brink of distinction,
they estimate that there are only about 60 Amur Leopards left in the wild! The sad
thing is these beautiful animals are hunted for their beautiful spotted fur. That
beautiful spotted fur is what inspired me to create this piece, along with the
beautiful abstract reflectionsÍž I hope that this drawing will help to bring attention to
the very sad state that these incredible animals are in. This piece is the third piece
of my 'Reflections' series.
