Soulitude
My inspiration for this painting was to capture a beautiful soul and the essence of these magnificent animals. Tigers mainly live in solitude because they are highly independent and territorial. Their sovereign presence is imposing and awe-inspiring.
Sumatran tigers are critically endangered. There are only an estimated 250-400 left in the wild. We must do everything we can to save them before they become extinct. It's a fact that overall, there are more tiger species in captivity in the United States of America than in the wild. I hope my art inspires respect and appreciation for these beautiful animals who need to be in the wild where they rightfully belong.
