A Little Polar Fox
I chose scratchboard as my medium to accentuate his soft and fluffy snow-white coat against his piercing eyes, imploring us to save his habitat.
The Arctic fox depends on small rodents that wavers between times of abundance and scarcity. It leaves them vulnerable when these creatures are low in numbers. Although their numbers are stable for now, the protection of the Arctic fox ensures the survival of a variety of other wildlife in the Arctic region.
With their short snouts, stubby legs and little curled ears, these cute little foxes are smaller than other foxes to adapt to the freezing arctic conditions.
