Hanging on for Dear Life was inspired by my trip to Friends of the National Parks Foundation in the deep jungles of Borneo. The exquisite beauty and vulnerability shining from the eyes of this baby orangutan shows just how deeply human and sentient they truly are. We are now at a crossroads with their survival. Do we keep burning down their forest homes for palm oil and live on a soulless planet with no animal life or do we save them to keep biodiverse ecosystems thriving that in the end keep us alive?
