This piece was inspired by my trip to the UK last year after visiting the British Wildlife Centre. We arrived at a keeper talk on hedgehogs. One of Britain's most loved and iconic mammals and a regular of many backyards, this adorable little creature is heading for extinction. Hopefully, with more care, we can save their hedgerow habitat.
