Although a difficult subject to paint, zebras will always facinate me as an artist. Something about the black & white stripes especcialy in water just makes me want to capture it all on canvas. It was a very hot day & this  group of zebras where so thirsty that they entered quite deep into the water to drink & also cool off. I composed the painting from multiple reference photos.
