Canadian artist Kelly Dodge placed as first runner up in the professional category for Wildscape Magazine's Wildlife Artist of the Year 2010 awards. "Egret Pool" a graphite piece by U.K artist Clive Meridith was the overall winner with Dodge's pastel painting, "Mischief Maker" receiving runner up. According to Wildscape Magazine, the judges had a hard time sorting the best from the good standard of work presented this year. They also welcomed a large number of entries coming in in from all around the world. Wildscape Magazine is a U.K. based wildlife art magazine that features wildlife art and conservation. With each issue, Wildscape covers as wide a variety of subjects and media as possible, with quality, in-depth and informative articles by some of the leading exponents of the genre. Dodge is honoured to receive this prestigious award .
