Rocky Mountain High' is how I feel as I stand atop Mount Evans in the Colorado Rockies. At 14,271 Ft, it is a perfect place for me to observe the Mountain Goat. Their ability to navigate the rugged terrain amazes me. The Rockies provide important refuge for many dwellers of the high country such as the Mountain Goat, Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep, Marmots and Pikas. Unique fragile tundra vegetation lends to the wonderland of the peaks.
