The Wall of Renewal sculpture is installed and placed to protect the entrance to the Wyoming Rescue Missions Recovery Ranch on Esterbrook Rd. Esterbrook Wy. The construction of the sculpture was helped by Mission residents who were once homeless and struggling with joblessness and drug addiction and are now getting back on their feet, working to find a new purpose as productive members in society. The connection between the Wall of Renewal and the Wyoming Rescue Mission is a shared story of hope, strength, and new purpose. Its purpose goes far beyond blocking wind and drifting snow. The sculpture is built from retired wind turbine blades-massive industrial tools once full of motion and purpose, later discarded, forgotten, and buried in landfills. Their story mirrors the stories of many who come through the Rescue Mission's doors. But renewal begins the moment someone chooses to believe in possibility again.
