One tactic of the warrior hunters would involve herding the bison to drive them over cliffs known as buffalo jumps where they would harvest them for food, clothing, and shelter. In this sculpture I have a warrior on horseback using a buffalo robe to stampede a herd. The backside of the robe portrays the image of a running buffalo, which symbolizes the great power, spirit, and respect the Native Americans held for the buffalo
