I show a big bull elk stepping out from the trees with his head back bugling. Elk sound their bugle or whistle call. It begins with a low bellow and changing almost immediately to a high-pitched noise that can be described as a whistle or scream. The bugle serves as a challenge to other bulls and the signal of domination over cows. It is always challenging sculpting trees because they a hard to pour in metal.
