A homage to the writers of scary stories, old cemetaries and the ghost-like barn owl gliding silently and white through our world.     The headstone reads,  "This is my end   l hear the rain  And now the Owl   Has called my name.  The last words of a dying man and also homage to Margeret Craven's book titled " l Heard the Owl Call My Name"  which in her story refers to the Native American belief that if you are ill or old and hear an Owl, your life in coming to an end.      Also zoom in to see the angelic Owl motif based on the angel heads with wings typically seen on headstones of this period.     March 13 is Margeret Craven's birthday and Oct. 7 is Poe's death day. 'Mr. King' died at the young age of 43, same as my own Father.
