The original drawing of the two owls in the painting ' Last Light' was still hanging on my studio wall. l decided to revisit the idea only this time depicting one Owl. Once again trying to keep feathers looking both hard and soft, making moss look mossy and ferns look dimensional was challenging and fun all rolled together.
