We were gifted by this lovely Hummingbird, whom we came to call Fidget, with the opportunity of watching her build her nest, lay her eggs and raise her two babies right off our deck.  l watched her children Pip and Peasley go from tiny little fuzzy raisins to the day they bravely lauched themselves into the world on inexperienced wings. lt was one of the most magical memories in my long career as a bird watcher.
