This young bird, out on her own, posed so pretty for me she deserved her own artwork. She has just finished hunting and has found a quiet place to feed. She ruffles then relaxes her feathers to calm herself after the excitement of the hunt. The sun exposed polypody ferns and mossy Maple branch create a lovely accent to the peaceful scene.
