Art is a powerful vehicle that can evoke thought, debate and sometimes controversy. Many artists show their support for wildlife and the environment through their work.                        

I hope to draw attention to the endangered Carnaby Cockatoo also known as the short-billed black cockatoo. This large black cockatoo is endemic to southwest Australia which is where I live.

 Luckily I do get to see them occasionally. Unfortunately they are now rapidly diminishing in numbers due to habitat loss.
