Kopje Cat
Lion populations are crashing in much of Africa because of poaching, habitat loss, irresponsible game hunting, and corruption (see Dr. Craig Packer's Lions in the Balance). Responsible ecotourism can help, but local communities must benefit from lion conservation too. A kopje (pronounced "copy") is an outcropping of Precambrian rock, an oasis in the plains that draws many animals for cover, food, and often water.
Original is framed. High-quality prints on paper are ready for framing.
