Jaguars once prowled the wild lands of Western US, but now their northernmost breeding population is about 100 miles south of the US border in Sonora. Nevertheless, Jaguars do enter the US now & then, and serious conservation efforts are underway to help them survive. I support the Northern Jaguar Project.
