Truth

To know ones own truth can be one of the most difficult things for someone to see. It requires each of us to see our strengths, our loves, our dislikes, and the flaws that we carry. It requires us to accept ourselves for everything that we are. It requires us to fall in love with who we have been and all the mistakes that we have made. It requires us to fall in love with who we are at the present moment, and realize that we have come a long way, and all those mistakes and old hurts brought us to where we are right now! It requires us to fall in love with whom we will become, as that person’s fate has not yet been determined. The future is always bright as long as we face our truth!
Leatherbacks are the closest relative to the original sea turtle that resided in our oceans from over 100 million years ago. Sadly only one in a thousand turtles will survive all the perils that they face once they are hatched. The perils that that they face are similar to the green sea turtle, with humans being one of the biggest issue. Yet they can be seen in various area’s of the ocean waters such as, Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans, and the Mediterranean Sea, but numbers are declining rapidly in the Pacific waters. The Leatherback sea turtle is on the endangered Species at Risk list in Canada and on the Endangered Species List in the United States.
