Green trutles are an iconic species on the Great Barrier Reef and epitimise gentleness and grace.  They can be highly varied in their coloration.  Warmer oceans and warmer air temperatures threaten many reptile spectes where the sex is determined by the temperature in which their eggs incubate. Increasingly adult green turtles are hatching as female.
