I was born in New York, raised in Mexico City and have resided in Arizona since 1990. A professional graphic designer by trade for 25 years, I'm now enjoying travelling around the world photographing wildlife and painting those subject I get to know up close. As a self-taught artist, I have evolved into the genre of wildlife photo-realism. My love and passion for both painting and animals has lead me to become a skilled photographer as well. Much of the planning of my paintings is accomplished during the time I spend in the presence of my subject.
