I've lived in Arizona most of my adult life, and have also traveled throughout the world. I do always enjoy coming home to the Sonoran Desert where I feel enormously inspired by the many intimte life forms here: furry noses, iridescent feathers, luminescent cactus flowers, fierce agave spikes, and always the residents therein. There is always an artistic opportunity happening somewhere around my home what with birds hatching, snakes shedding, tarantula wasps circling, resident bobcats or coyotes calling out their territories, and the fifth season of the desert that of the monsoons powering through a summer afternoon.
