"Wild Stock" depicts the untouched wilderness where wild sockeye salmon run thick in cool glacier fed waters.  Wild Pacific salmon are iconic species that hold cultural, social and economic significance for Canadians.  Our wild stock is advancing closer to extinction due to loss of habitat.  Wild salmon are the biological foundation of river ecosystems, as many animals as well as plants depend on them for survival.  We need to focus on protecting their natural remaining intact spawing beds as well as protect the native species.
