I volunteer at the West Sound Wildlife Shelter as a wildlife care steward, and contribute annually to their gala auction fundraiser through art donations.  I also actively manage the Purple Martin nesting boxes in Eagle Harbor, Bainbrige Island, for Kitsap Audubon.  

Habitat loss is the greatest threat to most endangered species, thus in addition to wildlife-specific nonprofits, I also actively support land conservancies such as the Bainbridge Land Trust, Great Peninsula Conservancy and Forterra.  

Through my art I hope to expand my reach and my contribution from its current local focus to a more global vision and impact, linking the species featured in my art to specific organizations that promote their conservation.
