Laurie Kulick is a New Jersey-based wildlife artist and art educator with over 30 years of dedicated experience in hyper-realistic animal portraiture. Specializing in the rich, demanding medium of fine soft pastels and pastel pencils, Kulick builds dense, velvety layers to capture everything from intricate organic textures to the profound, expressive depth of an animal’s eyes. Her narrative-driven work frequently explores themes of environmental interconnectedness, soft storytelling, and the delicate beauty of the natural world. Balancing a successful 28-year teaching legacy with a rigorous studio practice, Kulick is an Associate Member of Artists for Conservation and proudly donates 5% of her art sales to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
