A red fox pauses in quiet stillness, alert to the world around her. I wanted to capture that characteristic fox-like combination of intelligence, curiosity, and cautious awareness—the moment just before she moves again. This piece reflects my fascination with the subtle expressions and quiet presence of wild animals, and my desire to portray wildlife with both naturalism and feeling.
