Wolves are deeply social animals, shaped by their relationships with one another and by the landscapes they call home. Heart of the Pack: The Way Home explores that connection—between individual animals, family groups, and the wild places that sustain them.

I created this piece as a reminder that protecting wolves means protecting more than a single species. It means conserving the intact forests, watersheds, and interconnected ecosystems that allow wildlife to live, travel, hunt, and raise their young.

Through this work, I hope to encourage a deeper appreciation for wolves and a greater understanding of our responsibility to protect the wild spaces they—and so many other species—depend upon.
